Who we are
Cycle Tracker (“we”, “us”) is a manual fertility-awareness charting app operated by [legal entity / operator name]. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: [contact email].
Information we collect
- Account information. The email address you sign up with, used to authenticate you.
- Data you log. The cycle information you choose to enter: waking temperature, cervical fluid, OPK results, period flow, spotting, intercourse, energy, stress, mood, notes, and the dates they apply to.
- Limited technical data. A session cookie to keep you signed in, and error diagnostics (we configure error reporting to record column names only, never the values of your health data).
How we use your information
We use your information solely to provide the app: to store and display your charts, run cycle calculations (cycle day, coverline, and the fertile-window and ovulation estimates you can optionally enable), and keep your account secure. Predictions are optional and off by default; manual charting is the default.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
- We do not show ads or use third-party advertising trackers.
- We do not use your health data to train AI or machine-learning models.
When information is shared
- Share links you create. If you generate a share link, anyone with the link can view that read-only chart anonymously until you revoke it. You control this.
- Infrastructure providers. We use Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and Sentry (error monitoring) to operate the service. They process data on our behalf under their terms.
- Legal. We may disclose information if required by law.
Storage and security
Your data is stored in a Postgres database (Supabase) protected by row-level security so that only your account can read its own rows. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and passwords are hashed by our authentication provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights and choices
You can access and export your logged data from within the app, edit or delete entries, toggle predictions on or off, revoke any share link, and request deletion of your account and associated data. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, or California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data; contact us at [contact email] to exercise them.
Data retention
We keep your data until you delete it or close your account. Deleting your account removes your logged cycle data from our active systems.
Children
Cycle Tracker is not intended for anyone under [minimum age]. We do not knowingly collect data from children under that age.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above when we do.
